Many individuals and families carry emotional pain in silence—whether it’s the weight of anxiety, disconnection in relationships, or the pressure of unspoken cultural expectations. I often see children struggling to express big feelings, while parents feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to support them. Within families, patterns of miscommunication and emotional distance can quietly grow, leaving everyone feeling unseen and unheard.

As a therapist, I strive to help break that silence. With my clinical experience in school-based and family settings, I offer compassionate, culturally responsive therapy to children, individuals, and families. My work includes child-led play therapy, co-regulation strategies, and relational approaches that create space for healing and connection. I value honoring the diverse identities, beliefs, and dynamics each family brings into the room.

My hope is that through our work together, you will feel more grounded, connected, and understood. I’m here to help you move from simply coping to truly healing—one step, one story, and one safe space at a time.

Nausheen is an LMFT-Associate with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. She completed her clinical training with Denton Independent School District (ISD), where she provided individual and family therapy through the Denton ISD Family Center. In addition, Nausheen offered child-led play therapy and co-regulation sessions to children and adolescents at Alexander Elementary School. Her training reflects a strong foundation in working with diverse families and supporting emotional development in children through evidence-based, relational approaches. Nausheen is fluent in English and Urdu, allowing her to provide culturally responsive care to a broader range of clients.

With a strong background in higher education, Nausheen brings a unique perspective to her work as a therapist. Her experience working closely with students helped her develop core therapeutic skills such as active listening, empathy, and cultural awareness. In previous roles, she has supported individuals navigating academic and personal challenges, built trusting relationships, and fostered inclusive environments—experiences that naturally align with therapeutic practice. Nausheen also has a solid foundation in research, program development, and interdisciplinary collaboration, which enhances her ability to assess client needs and design thoughtful, goal-oriented interventions. Nausheen’s transition into therapy is rooted in a long-standing commitment to helping others grow, heal, and thrive.
